Brisbane Lightning defenceman Mikko Rippon has signed with Lake Forest Academy of the Midwest Prep Hockey League (MPHL) for their upcoming 2024–25 season. It will be Rippon’s first season with Lake Forest after spending 2023–24 with St Francis High School playing in the MPHL and the United States High School’s Preparatory system.
