Final edition of our look at the Australian players who were competing overseas during the 2023–24 season. Today features Australians in New Zealand.
Callum Burns: Twelfth season in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League (NZIHL). Playing with the Skycity Stampede as an alternate captain, Burns recorded 13 assists from 18 games.
Addison Hodge: Second season with the Canterbury Inferno. Playing in the New Zealand Women’s Ice Hockey League (NZWIHL), Hodge competed in six games and and posted a –4 plus/minus.
Lachlan Hodge: Second season in the NZIHL. Playing for the Canterbury Red Devils, Hodge recorded a goal and a four assists in his 16 games. He also made two appearances for the Auckland Mako during the season and picked up a goal.
Cameron Trew: Tenth season in the NZIHL. Playing with the Skycity Stampede, Trew competed in eleven games and recorded three assists.
