Emma Poynton is currently attending the 2024 World Para Ice Hockey (WPIH) Skills Development Camp where she is serving in a coaching capacity. The event is being held from 7 November to 11 November 2024 in Dolný Kubín, Slovakia and features athletes from Finland, France, Hungary, the Netherlands, and Slovakia. Poynton’s attendance at the camp follows her recent work at the 2024 Women’s World Challenge where she served as a technical delegate and tournament chairperson.
