Construction on the planned Canberra Arena is expected to begin in the last quarter of 2025 according to development partner, Cruachan Investments. Construction was initially forecast to be completed in 2025 however this has been pushed back due to delays with the development application. The facility, which is expected cost around $50 million, will include two full size ice sheets and a spectator capacity of 3,600.
