Australia women’s under-18 team defeats HC Varese 1977 in exhibition game

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have defeated HC Varese 1977 1–0 in an exhibition game at the Acinque Ice Arena in Varese, Italy. The match was held as part of the team’s training camp before the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B tournament which starts on 7 January in Katowice, Poland. The two teams previously met in an exhibition in January 2024, where Australia won 5–2.
