Ice Hockey Queensland has named the head coaches for four of the upcoming national championships. Damian Bright takes on the role for the State 13 & under team. He replaces Patrik Popovics, who has taken over the head coaching position with the State 18 & under team from Jordan Landy, who coached the team in 2023 and 2024. Abi Brown takes over the role of head coach of the State 15 & under team from Matthew Meyer after serving as one of the two assistant coaches in 2024. Finally, Meyer retains his position of head coach for the State women’s team, a role he has held since 2022.
