New South Wales has defeated Queensland 2–1 in game two of the 2025 20U State of Origin Ice Hockey Series at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium. Stepan Olkin and Colby Shumak both scored for New South Wales, and Jackson Staneke recorded Queensland only goal. The series is now tied at one-all after Queensland won the opening match yesterday. Competition resumes on 22 February at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium for game three of the six-game tournament.
