The Melbourne Mustangs have announced the signing of Canadian forward Mac Roy for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Roy spent 2024–25 playing senior AA hockey for Powell River Regals with the team being recently eliminated from the Coy Cup qualifications. Between 2005 and 2016, he has spent time playing in the British Columbia Hockey League, Chinook Hockey League, NCAA’s Division I, and the Pacific Junior Hockey League.
