The Newcastle Northstars have announced the re-signing of Liam Manwarring and Patrick Nadin for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season.
Forward Liam Manwarring played 20 games for Newcastle in 2024, scoring three goals and five assists. Since making his league debut in 2016 he has competed in 152 AIHL games and recorded 65 points. Manwarring will also retain the team captaincy, a role he has held since 2022.
Forward Patrick Nadin played 30 games for the club in 2024, scoring six goals and nine assists. Since making his league debut in 2014, he has competed in 233 AIHL games and recorded 107 points.
