The Newcastle Northstars have announced the signing of defenceman Ryan Annesley for the upcoming 2025 Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) season. Annesley spent 2024 playing for the Sydney Bears where he scored nine goals and 33 assists from 25 games. Since making his league debut in 2016, he has competed in 121 AIHL games and recorded 159 points.
