Sydney Bears forward Chris Eaden has signed with the Phoenix Thunder of the New Zealand Ice Hockey League (NZIHL) for the 2025 season. He joins the Thunder after a season with Sydney, where he recorded 24 points from 15 games. It is Eaden’s seventeenth season in the NZIHL and first with the Thunder, having previously played for the Canterbury Red Devils from 2007 to 2023.
