The Newcastle Northstars have revealed their NAIDOC Week jersey which will be worn during their game against the Adelaide Adrenaline on 13 July at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium. The jerseys, which features the artwork “Stars On Fire” by Baayanya By Nina, will be auctioned off at the game with proceeds going towards the local Indigenous community’s access to learning and playing ice hockey in Newcastle. The Northstars are also selling replica NAIDOC Week jerseys on their website.
