2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championships: Australia loses to Austria

The Australian para national team have lost 0–15 to the Austrian para national team in their second game of the 2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championships C-Pool tournament in Bangkok, Thailand. The award for best Australian player of the match was given to forward Michael McDonald.

In the other game of the day, Thailand defeated Finland 2–0. At the end of the second round, Australia remains in last place on the standings while Thailand continues to lead with six points. Competition resumes on 29 November where Australia will take on Finland for their final game of the round-robin stage. The two teams last met at the 2018 World Championships where Australia lost 1–6.
