2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championships: Australia finishes fourth after loss in bronze medal game

The Australian para national team have lost 0–9 to the Austrian para national team in their bronze medal game at the 2024 World Para Ice Hockey Championships C-Pool tournament in Bangkok, Thailand. Australia had qualified for the match after finishing the round-robin stage in fourth place and Austria had advanced after finishing third. The award for best Australian player of the match was given to goaltender Darren Peacock.

In the other game of the day, Finland defeated Thailand 1–0 to claim the gold medal and earn promotion back to B-Pool for 2025. Finland had qualified for the gold medal game after finishing the round-robin stage in second place and Thailand and advanced after finishing in first.
