The 2019 Kurt Defris National Championship has finished with Victoria defeating New South Wales 5-4 in the grand final to claim the gold medal. The tournament is open to players 15 and under and is held between the State Associations. This year’s tournament consisted of teams from the New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia. The Australian Capital Territory did not return to the competition after fielding a team in 2018. All games were held at Cockburn Ice Arena, Perth and the tournament ran from 31 July to 3 August 2019.
