Forward Maxim Lyashenko recently completed his second season with the Ontario Hockey Academy in Cornwall, Ontario. Playing on the Academy’s Midget AAA team in the Hockey Eastern Ontario Minor AAA Hockey League Lyashenko finished the 2019-20 season with 15 points from 45 games. Lyashenko first joined the Ontario Hockey Academy in 2018 where he played on their Midget AA team in the OEMHL AA competition. Locally Lyashenko has represented Western Australia on multiple occasions in the Ginsberg, DeFris and Tange national championships. He was also named on the Australian under-18 team roster to play in the 2020 U18 World Championships prior to its cancellation.
