2019 AWIHL playoffs

The Melbourne Ice have won the 2019 Joan McKowen Trophy after defeating the Sydney Sirens 4-3 in the grand final. The Ice advanced to the final after defeating the Brisbane Goannas 9-2 in the semifinals while the Sirens progressed with a 6-3 win over the Perth Inferno. The win gives the Ice their second title in a row and their seventh title overall.

AWIHL releases promo video ahead of finals

The Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League have released a short promo video for the upcoming 2019 finals. The playoffs start on 9 March with the semifinals and finish on 10 March with a third place game and the grand final. The four games are held at the Adelaide Ice Arena will be streamed via the AWIHL’s YouTube account.

Tickets for the 2019 AWIHL playoffs are now available via Trybooking.com. The playoffs start on 9 March with the semifinals and finish on 10 March with a third place game and the grand final. All four games will be held at the Adelaide Ice Arena in Thebarton. The Melbourne Ice, Perth Inferno and Sydney Sirens have all qualified for the playoffs with the fourth team to be determined following the results of this weeks final round of the regular season.

The AWIHL have announced the game time for the upcoming 2019 AWIHL playoffs. The playoffs will be held on 9 and 10 March at the Adelaide Ice Arena, while the format remains unchanged with two semifinals, a third place game and a grand final.
