Melbourne Mustangs
– The Mustangs have announced the signing of Slovenian forward David Sefic for the upcoming 2016 season. Sefic spent the 2015-16 season playing for HDD Jesenice in the Inter-National League and Slovenian Championship and HK Crvena Zvezda of the Serbian League. Perth Thunder
– The Thunder have signed Canadian forward Jessyko Bernard as their final import for the 2016 season. Bernard has just finished his fourth season with Concordia University of the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) system. Prior to playing in the CIS Bernard spent four seasons playing in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 2008 to 2012. For more information see the announcement from the club.

Sydney Bears
– The Bears have announced the signing of Canadian forward Brent Vandenberg for the 2016 season. Vandenberg spent the 2015-16 season playing for Dundas Real McCoys in the Allan Cup Hockey league and during the 2014 season played for the the Canterbury Red Devils in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League. Newcastle North Stars
– The North Stars have announced the signing of Connor McLaughlin for the 2016 season. McLaughlin has spent the 2015-16 season playing for the University of Alberta-Augustana in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association with fellow North Star teammates Scott Swiston and Beau Taylor. Sydney Bears
– The Bears have announced the signing of goaltender Anthony Kimlin for the upcoming 2016 season. Kimlin is currently playing for the Whitby Dunlops of the a Allen Cup Hockey league and has been with the team since 2011. He last played in the AIHL for the Sydney Ice Dogs during the 2013 season where he was named Goalkeeper of the Year. Kimlin will also be representing Australia at the upcoming World Championships in Mexico which starts on 9 April. For more information see the announcement by the club.

North Stars announce 2015 imports

The Newcastle North Stars have announced their imports for the upcoming 2015 season.

The four new imports join American John Kennedy who will start his third season with the North Stars and is expecting to gain an Australian permanent residency in the coming months. Davis, like Kennedy is also working towards his permanent residency.
