Perth Sharks
Benjamin Breault has been named head coach for the upcoming 2018-19 season. Breault replaces Dave Ruck who earlier stepped down following his appointment as head coach of the Australian U20 national team.
Alastair Punler returns as an assistant coach and is joined by Liam Jeffries as the clubs second assistant coach.
– Gill McLean is named the team manager for the 2018-19 season.
– The Sharks have also announced the dates for their tryout/training camps. The camps will be held on 6, 13, 20 and 27 November and 4 and 11 December with all sessions being held at the Perth Ice Arena. For more information see the announcement from Ice Hockey WA.

AIHL news: 2 February 2017

Melbourne Ice
– The Ice have announced the return of forward Jeremy Brown for the upcoming season. Brown last played for the Ice in 2015, scoring 20 points in 17 games. During the 2015-16 season Brown played for the Chambly Forts and Granby Inouk of the Quebec Junior Hockey League before signing with the Windsor Wild of the Ligue Hockey Senior A Mauricienne for 2016-17.

Perth Thunder
– The Thunder have announced the re-signing of Benjamin Breault for the 2017 season. Breault recorded 52 points, including 26 goals for the team last season and has been playing for Saint-Georges Cool FM 103.5 in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey during the AIHL’s off-season. Perth Thunder
– The Thunder have announced the signing of forward Benjamin Breault for the 2016 season. Breault has spent the 2015-16 season playing for the LHC Les Lions of the Ligue Magnus and STS Sanok of the Polska Hokej Liga. He has also previously played in the ECHL, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and Canadian Interuniversity Sport system. For more information see the announcement from the club.
