2017 U18 Women’s World Championship: Denmark beat Australia

The Australian Women’s national under-18 team have lost to Denmark 1-9 in their fourth game of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B tournament. Forward Emily Davis-Tope was named best Australian player of the game. In other games of the day France defeated Poland 3-1 and China beat Great Britain 4-1. After four rounds Australia have dropped to last place in the standings, twelve points behind table leaders Denmark. Australia take on China today in their final game of the tournament.

Denmark shutout Australia U18 Women in exhibition game

The Australian women’s under-18 team have lost to the Danish women’s under-18 team 0-10 in an exhibition game ahead of the 2018 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B tournament which kicks off tomorrow in Katowice, Poland. At the tournament Australia will take China, Denmark, France, Great Britain and Poland.

Denmark defeat Australian U18 Women in second exhibition match

The Australian women’s under-18 team have lost to the Danish women’s under-18 team 0-3 in their second exhibition game in Denmark. The team is currently in Denmark on a training camp before the start of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B Qualification tournament in San Sebastian, Spain which begins on 26 January. At the tournament Australia will take on Mexico, Romania and hosts Spain.

Australian U18 Women lose exhibition game to Denmark

The Australian women’s under-18 team have lost to the Danish women’s under-18 team 3-5 in their first exhibition game at the Ørestad Skøjtehal in Denmark. The team is currently in Denmark on a training camp before the start of the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women’s World Championship Division I Group B Qualification tournament in San Sebastian, Spain which begins on 26 January. At the tournament Australia will take on Mexico, Romania and hosts Spain.

Denmark defeats Australian U18 Women in second game of Denmark Tour

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have lost the second game of the 2015 Denmark Tour series against Denmark, going down 1-9 yesterday at the Saxo Bank Arena. After two periods of play the Australian’s were trailing 0-9 but managed to keep the Danes scoreless in the third. Australia’s only goal of the game came from Emily Davis-Tope who scored on the buzzer of the third period.

Australian U18 Women lose opener of 2015 Denmark Tour

The Australian women’s national under-18 team have lost their opening game of the 2015 Denmark Tour series against Denmark 2-12. The Australian’s trailed the Danes at the end of the first period with a score of 0-4. In the second period Denmark added three goals to their total with Australia getting one back with a goal from Natalie Ayris to finish the period 1-7. Australia’s Madison Poole scored the teams second goal in the third period however Denmark pilled on five more goals to finish the game 2-12.

The team is currently on the 2015 Denmark Tour which began on 25 July and included a training camp prior the the series of exhibition games. Game one of the series was held yesterday while game two is scheduled for today.
