Adelaide Adrenaline
– The Adrenaline have announced the signing of Canadian Caleb Apperson for the 2018 season. Apperson spent the first half of his 2017-18 season playing for Laurentian University in the U Sports system where he recorded 12 points in 18 games. At the end of February Apperson signed with the Birmingham Bulls of the Southern Professional Hockey League where he currently has four points from 13 games. David Huxley, Sean Greer and Graham Charbonneau have all announced that they will not be playing for the Adrenaline in the 2018 season. For more information see the announcement from the club

CBR Brave
– The Brave have announced the re-signing of Jordon Brunt, Mitchell Henning, Bayley Kubara, and Alex Tétreault
Jayden Lewis has re-signed with the Brave, having last played for the club in 2015. Lewis has spent the last two seasons playing junior hockey in Finland. In the 2017-18 season Lewis played for KaKiPo U20 and PaiHa U20 and currently has 10 points from 21 games.
Dary Flanagan has signed with the Brave having spent last season playing for the Melbourne Ice. The 2018 season will be Flanagan’s third in the AIHL, having previously played for the Mustangs in 2016.

Sydney Bears
– The Bears have re-signed Brian Funes and Jeremy Vasquez for the 2018 season. Funes will return for his third season with the Bears and eighth in the AIHL having previously played for the Ice Dogs from 2011 to 2015. Vasquez returns for his third season with the club. CBR Brave
– The Brave have announced the signing of Canadian goaltender Matt Hewitt for the upcoming 2018 season. Hewitt has spent the last five seasons playing for the University of British Columbia in the U Sports system. Hewitt finished the 2017-18 regular season with a 0.920 save percentage from 20 games. – The Brave have also made two further goaltender changes. The club announced the signing of Jakob Doornbos as their reserve goaltender and dropped last seasons starting goaltender Aleksi Toivonen from the roster. Doornbos has spent the 2017-18 season playing for the Sydney Wolf Pack in the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League where he recorded a save percentage of 0.917 from eight games. Toivonen has been playing for Paimion Haka in 2. Divisioona.

Melbourne Ice
– The Ice have partnered with Kids Under Cover, a not-for-profit organisation whose aim is preventing youth homelessness. For more information see the announcement from the club.

– The Brave have announced the signing of American forward Trevor Gerling for the upcoming season. Gerling has spent the 2017-18 season playing for LHC Les Lions of the Ligue Magnus where he currently has 52 points from 47 games. For more information see the announcement from the club

– The Ice Dogs have signed Canadian defenceman Nathan Chiarlitti for the 2018 season. Chiarlitti has spent the last five seasons playing in the U Sports system, most recently for McGill University. In the 2017-18 season for McGill Chiarlitti has recorded 20 points from 37 games. For more information see the announcement from the club

Adelaide Adrenaline
– The Adrenaline have announced the signing of Canadian goaltender Matt Murphy for the remainder of the 2017 season. Murphy spent the 2016-17 season playing for the Royal Military College of Canada in the U Sports system where he finished with a 0.902 save percentage from 22 games. Murphy comes into the team as a replacement for Tyler Steel who broke his hand prior to joining the Adrenaline. For more information see the announcement from the club.

– The Adrenaline have announced the signing of Zachary Boyle for the 2017 season. Boyle spent the 2016 season playing for the CBR Brave where he recorded nine points in 29 games. Boyle previously played for the Adrenaline in the 2014 and 2015 seasons. For more information see the announcement from the club.

– The Thunder have announced a partnership with MyLeadPod, an automated business reward program.

Sydney Bears
– The Bears have signed American forward Jackson Brewer for the upcoming 2017 season. Brewer spent the 2016-17 season playing for the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) where he recorded 41 points in 43 games. During the 2015-16 season Brewer spent time at three other SPHL clubs, the Knowville Ice Bears, Huntsville Havoc and Macon Mayhem, and was loaned out briefly out the Evansville IceMen of the ECHL. Sydney Ice Dogs
– The Ice Dogs have announced the signing of Canadian goaltender Damien Ketlo for the upcoming season. Ketlo spent the 2016-17 playing in his fifth season for the University of Lethbridge of the U Sports system, recording a 0.881 save percentage in six games. Prior to joining the University of Lethbridge Ketlo had a brief stint with the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL in the 2011-12 season. For more information see the announcement from the club.

– The Adrenaline have announced the signing of Canadian defenceman Casey Babineau for the upcoming 2017 season. Babineau has spent the last for seasons playing for the University of Prince Edward Island in the U Sports systems, recoridng a total of 16 points in 121 games. Babineau also spent four seasons playing for the Rimouski Océanic of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 2009 to 2013. For more information see the announcement from the club.

Melbourne Mustangs
– The Mustangs have signed American forward Matthew Beattie for the 2017 season. Beattie has spent the 2016-17 season playing for Étoile Noire de Strasbourg of the Ligue Magnus, recording 18 points in 35 games. Beattie was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the seventh round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, however he went on to play for Yale University from 2012 to 2016. – The Adrenaline have announced the signing of forward Cameron Critchlow for the upcoming 2017 season. Critchlow has spent the last five seasons playing for the University of New Brunswick in the U Sports system and prior to that played five seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
