The Australian men’s national under-20 team have completed their training camp in Litomerice, Czech Republic and are now travelling to Jaca, Spain for the start of the 2015 IIHF U20 World Championship Division II Group B tournament. On 8 December the team played their second of three exhibition games for the camp, losing 1-8 to HC Litomerice U20. At the end of the first period Australia trailed 1-2 however mistakes and penalties allowed Litomerice to pull away in the second, finishing the period with a 6-1 lead and then adding another two goals in the third.

On 10 December the team travelled to Decin to play their final exhibition game against HC Decin U20 which they lost 3-9. Penalties again played their part in the teams loss as well as some poor defense which saw the Australian’s trailing 0-4 at the end of the first period. Despite scoring two goals in the second and one in the third the team allowed another six goals through before the end of the game.
