The Perth Thunder have announced the signing of goaltender Peter Di Salvo for the start of the 2015 season. Di Salvo has been signed on an interim basis until the clubs original signing recovers from injury which is expected to be late May. Di Salvo has spent the last two seasons playing in the Southern Professional Hockey League, most recently for the Mississippi Riverkings.

Sheffield retires

Newcastle North Stars player Ray Sheffield has announced his retirement after 13 seasons with the club.
