Round 8 of the 2015-16 Australian Junior Ice Hockey League has finished with the Melbourne Glaciers defeating the Melbourne Whalers 4-2 at the O’Brien Group Arena. Following their win the Glaciers extend their lead at the top of the standings and are now ten points ahead of the second placed Sydney Wolf Pack. The AJIHL now breaks for the Christmas period and the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division II Group B tournament and will resume on 22 January with the Whalers taking on the Glaciers.
