Round 5 of the 2016 Australian Ice Hockey League season has finished with wins for the Melbourne Ice, Newcastle North Stars, Perth Thunder and the Sydney Ice Dogs. The Ice remain on top of the standings, five points clear of the second placed Thunder. Next week all eight teams are in action across eight games.
