Pirates lose to Northstars Women

The Canberra Pirates have lost two 2017 NSW Women’s League games against the Newcastle Northstars Women at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium over the weekend. The Pirates were defeated 0-2 in Game 1 and 0-1 in Game 2. The Pirates are competing in the 2017 NSW Women’s League as well as being a member of the Australian Women’s Tier 2 Show Case Series’ East Division. The Pirates replace the Canberra Dragons who competed in the league in 2016.

The Pirates return to Australian Women’s Tier 2 Show Case Series competition in July for Series 2 of the East Division. While their next games in the Women’s League are against the LCC Saints Women and Canterbury Eagles Women on 30 April.
