2017 Inline World Championships: Australia advance to semifinals

The Australian men’s national inline hockey team have defeated Hungary 4-2 in their quarterfinal match of the 2017 IIHF Inline World Championship Division I tournament. Goaltender Michael James was named best Australian player of the match, his second for the tournament. In other games of the day Great Britain defeated Argentina 5-3, Latvia beat New Zealand 12-4 and Slovenia beat Brazil 14-4. Australia advances to the semifinals where they will meet Latvia for the second time this tournament. In the preliminary round Latvia beat Australia 6-2.
