The 2017 Kurt Defris National Championship has finished with Western Australian defeating New South Wales 4-0 in the gold medal game. The tournament is open to players 15 and under and is held between the State Associations. This year’s tournament consisted of teams from the New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia. South Australia returned after not competing in 2016 while the Australian Capital Territory did not return after competing in 2016. All games were held at the O’Brien Group Arena and the tournament ran from 12 July to 15 July 2017.
