Series 2 of the 2017 Australian Women’s Tier 2 Show Case Series – East Division has finished with all three teams picking up at least one win. At the end of Series 2 the New South Wales Bombers sit on top of the East Division standings, four points ahead of the Canberra Pirates. The Bombers also lead the league as a whole with the Western Division yet to play their second series. Competition resumes on 12 August with Series 2 of the Western Division while the East Division teams return to action on 23 September for the finals in Melbourne.
