Pirates lose to the Bears

The Canberra Pirates have lost to the Sydney Bears 0-2 in the 2017 NSW Women’s League game this weekend at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre. Their second game of the weekend against the Bears had to be cancelled due to bad ice at the Liverpool Catholic Club Ice Rink.

The Pirates return to Australian Women’s Tier 2 Show Case Series competition on 23 September for the finals series in Melbourne. While their next games in the Women’s League are against the LCC Saints on 26 August at the Phillip Ice Skating Centre.
