The Australian men’s national under-20 team have beat Turkey 5-3 in their second game of the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division III tournament. Forward Aiden Sillato was named the best Australian player of the match. In other games of the day Bulgaria shutout New Zealand 9-0, China defeated South Africa 14-1 and Iceland beat Chinese Taipei 4-0. After the second round Australia sit second in the Group A standings, one point off the lead. The teams have a rest day today and return on Thursday with Australia taking on Chinese Taipei today for their final group stage game.
