2019 ECSL playoffs: Semifinals

The semifinals of the 2019 East Coast Super League playoffs have finished with the Nudo Bombers and Penrith Raptors advancing to the grand final series which kick of next weekend. The semifinals are a two-game series with the winner being determined on a cumulative aggregate format. If tied at the end of game two continuous overtime is held until a winner is determined. In Semifinal A the Nudo Bombers won both of their games to defeat the Newcastle North Stars 12-4 on aggregate. In Semifinal B the third ranked Penrith Raptors upset the second ranked Sydney Sting 6-3 on aggregate to advance.

Semifinal A

  • Nudo Bombers 7-3 Newcastle North Stars ECSL (16:15, 7 September 2019, Hunter Ice Skating Stadium)
  • Newcastle North Stars ECSL 1-5 Nudo Bombers (18:15, 8 September 2019, Penrith Ice Palace)
  • Nudo Bombers win 12-4 on aggregate

Semifinal B

  • Penrith Raptors 4-2 Sydney Sting (19:00, 7 September 2019, Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink)
  • Sydney Sting 1–2 Penrith Raptors (20:00, 8 September 2019, Penrith Ice Palace)
  • Penrith Raptors win 6-3 on aggregate
