Australian Women lose opening games at the Taiwan Cup

The Australian women’s national team have lost their first two games at the 2019 Taiwan Cup Women’s Ice Hockey Tournament. The tournament is being held at Taipei Arena Ice Land in Taipei City from 6 to 8 November. Australia went down 0-3 against Taiwan U18 in their opening game and lost their second game 0-8 against Thailand YGG Ice Hockey Club. Competition resumes today with Australia taking on Hong Kong WIHO ELITE before the competition moves into playoffs.
