Ice Hockey Australia (IHA) have announced the cancellation of the 2020 Women’s National Championship due to the coronavirus pandemic. The tournament was scheduled to hold its inagural edition from 27 to 30 May at the Cockburn Ice Arena in Perth. The IHA have advised that they are unable to reschedule the tournament to a later date in the year but hope to include it in their 2021 calender.
Also affected by the coronavirus pandemic is the McCrae Williamson Jamboree which was set to be held in June. The IHA have at this point postponed the Jamboree to later date in the year.
