Australians overseas: Regan Hackett

Forward Regan Hackett recently completed his first season with the Grand Forks Border Bruins of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League. Playing as a reserve for the Bruins Hackett competed in five games and recorded two penalties in minutes. Hackett’s first relocated overseas in 2017 where he joined the Ontario Hockey Academy and was placed in their Midget AA team. Following the end of the season Hackett relocated to British Columbia and joined the Pursuit Of Excellence Hockey Academy to play in their Midget U18 Varsity for the 2018-19 season. Locally Hackett has represented Queensland on multiple occasions, playing in the DeFris and Tange national championships.
