Defenceman Marcus Hosen recently completed his first season with the Ontario Hockey Academy. Playing for the Academy’s U17 Midget AAA team in the Hockey Eastern Ontario Minor AAA league Hosen finished the 2019-20 season with six points from 44 games.
Locally Hosen is a member of the AIHL’s Sydney Ice Dogs, debuting for the club in 2019 and playing in four games. He is also a former member of the Australian under-18 team, appearing at the 2019 World Championships. In the national championships Hosen has represented New South Wales on multiple occasions, playing in the Ginsberg, DeFris and Tange tournaments.
