Australians overseas: Connor Lee

Forward Connor Lee recently completed his second season with the Steele County Blades. Playing in the United States Premier Hockey League’s Premier division Lee finished the 2019-20 season with 33 points from 42 games. Prior to joining the Blades in 2018 Lee had spent two seasons with the Iowa Wild AAA Hockey Club, playing in their under-14 and under-16 teams, and a season with the Des Moines Buccaneers AAA Hockey Club in their under-15 team.

Locally Lee is part of the AIHL’s Sydney Ice Dogs, debuting for the club in 2019. Lee is a current member of the Australian under-20 team, playing in his first World U20 Championships in 2020. He is also a former member of the Australian under-18 team, playing in two World Championships from 2017 to 2018. In the national championships Lee has represented New South Wales on two occasions in the Ginsberg tournament.
