Australians overseas: Jake Riley

Forward Jake Riley recently completed his second season with Tranås AIF. During the 2019-20 season Riley played on Tranås AIF’s under-18 and under-20 teams. Playing on their under-18 team in the J18 Division 1 Riley recorded five points from five games while on their under-20 in the J20 Division 1 he played 13 games and scored 15 points. Riley’s first season overseas was in 2017-18 when he joined A21 Academy. The following season he moved to Sweden and joined Tranås AIF, playing on both the under-18 and under-20 teams during the 2018-19 season.

Locally Riley is a member of the AIHL’s Adelaide Adrenaline having been part of the club since 2016. He is a current representative of the Australian under-20 national team and a former member of the under-18 national team. In the national championships Riley has represented South Australia on multiple occasions playing the Ginsberg, DeFris and Tange tournaments.
