Defenceman Arthur Wang recently completed his first season of Junior A level hockey with the Whitby Fury. Playing in the Ontario Junior Hockey League he finished the 2019-20 season with one assist and four penalty minutes from ten games. Wang joined the Fury in September 2019 after a season at the Junior C level the Schomberg Cougars in the Provincial Junior Hockey League.
Locally Wang is a representative of the Australian men’s under-20 team having first joined the team in 2019. He was also named as part of the Australian men’s under-18 team and would have competed in his fourth World U18 Championships in 2020 had the tournament not been cancelled. In the national championships Wang has represented New South Wales on multiple occasions in the Ginsberg, DeFris and Tange tournaments.
