Former national team player Chris Rurak passes away

Ice Hockey South Australia have announced the passing of Chris Rurak at age 47. Rurak represented Australia on five occasions at the World Championships from 1992 to 1997. In his 25 games he recorded he recorded eleven goals, twelve assists and 38 penalty minutes. Rurak also played two seasons with the Massena Americans in the Central Junior A Hockey League from 1990 to 1992 and four seasons with SUNY Cortland in the NCAA’s Division III from 1993 to 1997.
