Skaters Network have announced the winners of the ECSL Player of the Week for Rounds 21, 22 and 23 and the playoffs of the 2020 season.
Taking out Round 21 was Taegan Rippon of the Reach Rebels where he recorded two goals and two assists in the teams 14 November win over the Sydney Sting. Round 22 was won by Tyerell Clare of the Newcastle North Stars after he scored three goals and two assists in their 21 November win against the Reach Rebels. Newcastle also took out Round 23 with Alistair Rye being named player of the week after scoring four goals and four assists in the teams 28 November win over the Sydney Sting.
In the playoffs the player of the week for the semifinal round was awarded to Jake Knott of the Stealth Bombers after he recorded three goals and an assist in their two games against the Newcastle North Stars. The final player of the week for the season was awarded to the Polyflor Raptors’ captain Paul Bond after they defeated the Stealth Bombers in the grand final round to claim back-to-back championships.
