The Canberra Pirates have defeated the Flyers IHC 2-0 in Round 9 of the 2021 Ice Hockey NSW Women’s League season. The Pirates move up to fourth on the standings and are nine points behind the Sydney Bears who lead the league on 14 points. The Pirates return to action on 30 May when they take on the Canterbury Eagles at the Canterbury Olympic Ice Rink.
Note: Ice Hockey NSW have removed the Sydney Bears win over the Newcastle Northstars after they withdrew from the league following the second round. The Bears were the only team to have taken on the Northstars prior to their withdrawal.
