The Newcastle Northstars have announced that Game 18 and Game 19 of the 2021 McCormack Cup have been postponed due to ongoing restrictions. The games were set to be held on 31 July and 1 August at the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium. The Northstars are hoping to reschedule the matches though dates have yet to be announced.
In other updates for the McCormack Cup, Game 17’s scheduled date came and went without at update from the Sydney Ice Dogs. The game was set to be held on 24 July at the Erina Ice Arena. It is currently unclear if it has been cancelled or just postponed.
