The Perth Inferno have lost 2–3 to the West Coast Patriots in Round 20 of the 2021 Ice Hockey WA Division 2A season. The Inferno finish their regular season in last place, 25 points behind the Cockburn Blackhawks who finished at the top of the standings with 32 points. The top for teams now advance to the playoffs with the Cockburn Redhawks taking on the Blackhawks in the first semifinal and the Cockburn Seahawks playing the West Coast Patriots in the second.
