The Perth Sharks have defeated the Northern Vikings 7–5 in Round 23 of the 2021 Perth Premier League season. Following their win the Sharks move into fourth on the standings and therefore qualifying for the playoffs in the final round of the regular season. The West Coast Flyers Blue claim the regular season title with 25 points, two points ahead of the second placed West Coast Flyers Orange. The Sharks are back in action 10 September for the semifinals where they will take on the Flyers Blue at the Perth Ice Arena.
