The Melbourne Ice have lost 3–4 to the Blackhawks in their fourth game of the 2021-22 IHV Senior Summer League Division 2 season. Following their loss the Ice drop to third on the standings and are two points behind the Braves who currently lead the league. The Ice are back in action on 24 January when they take on the Marauders.
