The Adelaide Adrenaline have announced that they have withdrawn from the 2022 Australian Ice Hockey League season after failing to secure an agreement with the operators of the Adelaide Ice Arena. The Adrenaline had earlier announced that they were looking into alternatives after they deemed the arenas draft agreement as non-equitable and unviable. The club have stated they they are now planning on a return for the 2023 season.
