Sydney Ice Dogs defender Daniel Pataky has been named the Skaters Network AIHL Player of the Week for the weekend of 6 and 7 August. Pataky scored a goal in his teams win over the Melbourne Ice and two assists in their loss to the Melbourne Mustangs.
