2022 Phillip Ginsberg National Championship: 13 August results and standings

Day 3 of the 2022 Phillip Ginsberg National Championship saw the completion of the preliminary round with wins for New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia. New South Wales finished at the top of the standings and advanced to the semifinals against the fourth placed Queensland. South Australia finished second and moved through to their semifinal against Western Australia. Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory finished fifth and sixth respectively and failed to progress.

In the first semifinal New South Wales defeated Queensland 10–1 and in the second semifinal South Australia beat Western Australia 7–3. Competition resumes tomorrow with New South Wales taking on South Australia in the gold medal game while Queensland and Western Australia will play for bronze.
