The CBR Brave have won the 2022 Goodall Cup after defeating the Newcastle Northstars 3–2 in the grand final at the O’Brien Icehouse. The Brave had qualified for the match after earlier defeating the Northstars in the second semifinal while the Northstars had advanced after winning yesterday’s preliminary final against the Sydney Bears. The win gives the Brave their second Goodall Cup title having previously won in 2018.
